LOLA Ige

Great music is only half the job. I build the positioning, visibility and engagement that carries it from a Lagos studio to the rest of the world.

The strategist behind the rollout Lagos

I’m a music marketing strategist. My work sits at the point where African music meets a global audience — international, local and catalog campaigns, and the rollouts that decide whether a record finds its people or disappears into the feed.

I led marketing for Sony Music West Africa as Head of Marketing, steering regional campaigns for some of the biggest releases on earth. Before that I ran the marketing department at Chocolate City Music, overseeing creative and digital campaigns across the label’s roster and liaising with key DSP partners — and served as Managing Editor of CC Cosmo, the label’s annual magazine.

Success in music isn’t one moment — it’s sustaining impact and evolving with the culture.

Today I bring that playbook to the artists, labels and brands that want more than a release date. The work is deliberately unglamorous underneath: audience behaviour, digital trends, brand positioning. Every campaign I take on is data-driven, creatively executed and strategically positioned for maximum reach and long-term growth.

PositioningFinding the true story of a record, then building the rollout that makes it unmissable.
VisibilityDSP playlisting advisory, paid media, and press relations across West Africa and the diaspora.
EngagementTurning a release moment into an audience that stays — and a catalog that keeps earning.
